Citizens' Bank Hates Me

Time to get back on the ole horse and this is a good one to do it with.

For those of you who read this and didn't know me in college, i had a little tiff with Citizens Bank. To keep a long story short, they stole about $2k from me - basically one day my account had $2k and the next day it had zero, w/o any transactions in the interim. I showed them what happened, they give me half of it back, I complained up the chain, they did nothing about it, so I eventually took them to small claims court and lost. Just to clarify - this was over a matter of a thousand dollars almost 4 years ago.

So i recently got an etrade brokerage acc't when they bot brownco (which i had used before), and i went on their website, which made a good point that if i opened up a cd i could get 4.25% interest on my cash balance. So i try to open up a CD acc't...but i get denied. Just to clarify, ETrade currently has my margin business which when I turn the tap on allows me to borrow a lot of money from them; but they won't pay me FFF6 minus 75 bps on my cash. However, if you get denied a savings account (once again this is akin to somebody saying they won't hold your money) you are legally permitted to ask why. I request the thing that you are allowed to request when you are denied an account and i just got their form today and i am apparently an "account manipulator" - if you know what that means, please tell me...but,

in the space for "reporting institution"

in big black letters and 3 part harmony

are the words
citizens bank

And they say corporate America can't hold a grudge - I think this calls for a really immature prank ala Animal House. Maybe I'll drive to Woonsocket, RI and egg their headquarters.

As an aside, I get some solace out of the fact that the Stros have 2x in a row beaten out the Citizens Ballpark Phillies for the playoffs on the last day of the year...payback's a bitch MF!
